The project involved the study of the micro system of the water body on MNP, which is a dumping ground.
The objective of the project was to assess the role of the rain water harvesting pond in enhancing the waste stabilisation process, evaluate the chances of contamination and effect on ecology and check for water suitability for desired use. This study was done through limnological, water quality studies and solid waste analysis.
